We now offer ASVAB core and technical courses, Test Prep, as well as STEM mentorship year round for students. Our goal as educators, instructors, and mentors is to provide real life experiences and to counsel, motivate, and in some cases provide on-the-job learning to ensure a secure foundation as students prepare and strengthen skills and interests in same field of study.

In support of Career and Technical training, Exercising The Mind is now offering classes in *Art and Design with our passionate instructor who will provide real world knowledge and experience in the art and design field.
STEM (Science-Technology-Engineering-Math) programs are a great avenue for students to gain valuable skills through the "hands on" approach to develop and expand current skills in science and technology. Our mentors are Graduate students that are Engineering, Math, Technology, and Science majors.
Our *ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) classes are for students who desire an alternative approach in Military Education. The battery is multi-aptitude and measures developed abilities and help predict future academic and occupational success in the military. The core course prepares students in Arithmetic Reasoning, Mathematics Knowledge, Paragraph Comprehension, Word Knowledge, and General Science subtests. Taking the technical course will help with performance on the Auto Information, Shop Information, Electronics Information, and Mechanical Comprehension subtests.
Our Test Prep classes are designed to prepare students for the SAT and/or ACT. Our small 6 week classes meet once a week for 3 hours with our top instructors (top scores, teaching experience, and hold Master's and Ph.D.) with proven track records of providing students with effective techniques and test strategies. This engaging and collaborative group will be upbeat, challenging, and rigorously fun. Look forward to raising your score 200-500 points.
